Sensei Con Condis

As a young boy, Sensei Con actively participated in many types of sports including representative soccer and commenced karate in 1985 at the age of fifteen (15) at the Earlwood dojo under Shihan Tsanidis. He reached the grade of 3rd Kyu (brown belt) before stopping to concentrate on his studies. Many years later and after looking for new pursuits in life, he recommenced with Goju- Ryu Karate after trying various other martial art styles. Through committed training, Sensei Con achieved his black belt 1st Dan (Shodan) in 2010 at the age of forty one (41) and regularly visits Japan to further his skills. .
Sensei Con also trains in traditional Jujitsu where he currently holds the rank of brown belt. His interest in karate is focused on the traditional aspects of Japanese etiquette and has taken Japanese language classes as well. Sensei Con believes that his multiple years in karate training has provided him with the ability to remain calm in stressful situations. In 2015, Sensei Con was awarded his 2nd Dan (Nidan) and is currently one of the assistant instructors at the Earlwood dojo.
