A student may be disqualified temporarily or for life for any of the following:
Committing a criminal offence:
This is a serious matter and could lead to disqualification. Students need to adhere to the law and maintain good conduct.
Failing to obey orders:
Discipline and respect are fundamental in martial arts. Disobeying instructions from instructors or senior practitioners can result in consequences.
Breach of etiquette:
Etiquette plays a crucial role in martial arts training. Violating traditional customs, showing disrespect, or misbehaving can lead to disqualification.
Entering the Do-Jo under the influence of alcohol:
Practicing martial arts while intoxicated is unsafe and goes against the principles of focus and control. It’s a valid reason for disqualification.

Speaking back to the instructor:
Martial arts emphasize humility and respect. Disrespectful behaviour towards instructors or peers can result in disqualification.
